My story

Many forms. One purpose.

Misha’s work may take many forms, but it all comes from the same purpose: helping people find resilience, meaning, connection and purpose in the middle of life’s next chapter.

01

Journalism

Misha’s storytelling career includes more than two decades in broadcast national network news, along with on-camera work as a business reporter for Georgia Public Broadcasting.

02

Storytelling

She received a Southeastern Emmy for Best Documentary for Burning Questions, which she co-wrote, directed, voiced and appeared in to honor her father’s childhood experience in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. The deeply personal film was broadcast nationally on PBS.

03

Loss & rebuilding

Life rarely unfolds exactly as we imagined. Some seasons change us. Some call us forward. And some invite us to decide what matters most now. Misha’s own experience of loss became part of the work she would go on to do.

04

Widow Strong & grief resilience

As Founder of Widow Strong, Misha has developed grief resilience programming, facilitated widow groups, created resources, led workshops and partnered with churches and community organizations.

05

Leadership & facilitation

She serves as the Iron Forums Buckhead Group Facilitator, helping create a trusted forum for women business and nonprofit leaders, and co-leads a Widow Connect Group at Passion City Church in Buckhead.

06

Community & purpose

Today, Misha brings communication, faith, resilience and service into one continuing body of work—speaking, coaching, facilitating and consulting—that helps people move forward.

“Legacy isn’t simply what we leave behind. It’s how we choose to live, love, lead and serve today.”
